Neurix Hotspot

Operate managed Wi-Fi as a service—not a collection of disconnected access points.

Coordinate hotspot identity, authentication, session policy, captive access and support across enterprise, hospitality, campus and service-provider environments.

Deployment and support scope are confirmed during discovery.

What it is

Managed Hotspot

Neurix Hotspot is a managed-access workspace for teams operating public, guest or subscriber Wi-Fi. It connects the access journey with authentication, session policy, site context and support workflows while allowing the implementation to fit existing gateway and network infrastructure.

01 / Access

One managed access model

Coordinate how users enter, authenticate and receive service across the agreed hotspot estate.

02 / Operations

Multi-site visibility

Relate venues, gateways, access services and active sessions to the teams responsible for them.

03 / Experience

A supportable user journey

Give support teams context around access state and the policy behind each managed session.

Capability set

Built around the work operators need to complete.

Final coverage depends on the agreed environment, integrations, device support and delivery scope.

01

Access and session policy

Define agreed session duration, service entitlement and access behaviour for supported hotspot environments.

02

Authentication integration

Connect supported RADIUS, voucher, account or approved identity workflows to managed Wi-Fi access.

03

Site and gateway context

Organise managed venues, gateways and service zones around operational ownership and support.

04

Captive portal connection

Attach the approved branded or policy-led portal journey to relevant sites and access services.

05

Session visibility

Review the available access, authentication and session state required for support and operations.

06

Permission-aware operations

Control which administrators can manage sites, policies, sessions and support actions.

Operating model

A clear path from signal to action.

Neurix keeps each stage visible so different teams can work from the same operational context.

  1. 01

    Model

    Define the access service

Agree sites, gateways, user journeys, identity methods, entitlements and operational roles.
  2. 02

    Authenticate

    Validate the access request

Use the supported identity or voucher workflow and apply the relevant tenant or site policy.
  3. 03

    Serve

    Establish the managed session

Coordinate the approved access response with the gateway and record the available session context.
  4. 04

    Support

    Investigate with shared context

Help operations and support teams review access state without rebuilding the user journey from separate tools.

Who it helps

Shared context for the teams responsible for service delivery.

Enterprise and campus IT

Operate employee, contractor or guest Wi-Fi across offices, campuses and distributed sites.

Hospitality and venue operations

Coordinate managed guest access across properties, venues or public environments.

ISPs and managed service providers

Deliver and support hotspot services across customer or franchise locations.

Deployment and fit

Hotspot delivery must fit the gateways and identity systems already in use.

Discovery confirms supported gateways, RADIUS behaviour, portal redirection, session accounting, network segmentation and any enterprise identity or voucher requirements.

Scope considerations
  • Enterprise and hospitality Wi-Fi
  • RADIUS and approved identity flows
  • Multi-site and tenant context
  • Existing gateway integration

Supported gateway models, authentication flows, accounting attributes and session controls are recorded in the implementation design.

Product FAQ

Questions to answer before implementation.

Does Neurix provide the Wi-Fi access points?

Neurix is the managed-access software layer. Hardware supply and supported gateway or access-point responsibilities are confirmed in the commercial and technical scope.

Can it work across multiple enterprise sites?

Yes, multi-site operations are a core use case. The site hierarchy, shared policies and local exceptions are agreed during discovery.

Which authentication methods are supported?

The available methods depend on the gateway and identity architecture. RADIUS, vouchers, accounts and approved identity integrations can be assessed for the target environment.

Can hotspot access use secure browsing policies?

Yes, the hotspot and secure-browsing workflows can be combined when managed DNS routing and the required site or tenant policy controls are part of the design.
